As we enter the most exciting time of year for birdwatching, we welcome you to our upcoming bird walks led by AVAS Field Trip Chairperson, Mickey Dyke!
Prime Desert Woodland Preserve
April 5th, 7am-8:30am
Enjoy our monthly Bird Walk at the Prime Desert Woodland Preserve! No need to sign up, it’s open to any and all bird lovers!
*Spare binoculars available, and bring your cameras if you’d like.
April 12th, 7am-10am
*Open to those who hold Piute Ponds permits.
Meet your fellow AVAS members at this birding hotspot! Come see our migratory birds, situated on the Pacific Flyway, at the most active time of year. We will be meeting at the gate on Ave. C, just east of Sierra Highway.
